Mission Statement and Vision

 Our Mission Statement

At St Barnabas’ it is our belief that every decision that we make originates from the teachings of Jesus.

To do this we base our mission on the following quote from the Bible:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control: against such things there is no law."

Galatians 5:22-23

When working with our pupils we put this it in the simpler terms of:

"Living, working and growing together in the love of God."

We believe that by putting the teachings of Christ at the centre of everything we do we will develop a school where there is openness and hospitality, encouragement and comfort, trust and understanding, good things happen, and everyone enjoys being there.

We have strong links with St Barnabas Church and we develop and nurture our pupils’ spiritual, cultural, moral, political, social and economic development by example and through religious teachings based on Christianity and other World Faiths.
